6/15: Argumentative Essay (part 1) - Compare/Contrast Essay due
6/22: Argumentative Essay (part 2)
6/29: Final Exam (in-class essay)
Homework this week:
Please write a pros and cons list of a controversial issue that you feel strongly about. Try to have about five pros and five cons of the issue in your list. I want to use this list of pros and cons as practice for an argumentative essay next week in class. Thank you! :)
The Comparison/Contrast Essay Requirements:
Complete the Compare/Contrast essay based on the topic that you began for homework last week. Use point-by-point or block organization. Please label which one you use in your outline.
hand in:
a. brainstorming (Venn Diagram or T-chart) - not typed is ok
b. detailed outline - must be typed
c. essay - must be typed (double-space, 3 pages maximum)
